For the first time, they started talking about the appearance of a new generation of the large crossover Cadillac XT6 2019-2020 at the auto show in New York. Now the new, serial crossover Cadillac was officially presented at the Detroit auto show. The manufacturer has already given the new product a place between the XT5 and the Cadillac Escalade. Despite the novelty, the design is kept in the style of the brand and is well recognizable in the flow of cars.
The basis for the new crossover was the C1XX platform, on which the engine is located transversely. The drive of the Cadillac XT6 2019 in the base is front; as an option, they offer four-wheel drive, with a connected rear axle. The suspension of the new Cadillac crossover turned out to be a standard layout, with a MacPherson strut installed in front, and a multi-link suspension in the back.

Under the hood of the new Cadillac XT6 2019-2020, a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 with a capacity of 314 horses and 373 Nm of torque is installed. For example, the Luxury equipment received a soft suspension, but the Sport suspension received a stiff one. The Premium Luxury version can be either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, but the Sport version is only all-wheel drive. The exterior design will be dominated by black, and the interior of the 2020 Cadillac XT6 Sport will receive carbon fiber inserts. To further emphasize the novelty, for a separate surcharge, the sports version can be installed on 21 ″ light-alloy wheels. The official start of the sale of the new Cadillac XT6 2019-2020 is scheduled for the spring of 2019, presumably at the same time the prices and configurations of the new items will be announced.
