Holders of Euroblocks have been extended their vacation from fines for another 90 days, until November. The main details, nuances, changes to the law have been named.

The rush hour on 22 August was a pivotal one for many foreign registered car owners. Some were in a hurry to put the car on the Ukrainian registration, while others, on the contrary, waited until the last. On the day of the end of the second "vacation", the President of Ukraine announced that a new postponement would be given, but since the new Parliament was not formed, the promises were only in words. Now, on August 12, 2019, the new convocation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine officially gave an additional 90 days for Eurobills, thereby postponing fines.

The new Draft Law No. 1030, which provides for the postponement of fines and amending the legislation on violation of the procedure for the import and movement of vehicles on the territory of Ukraine, has become more loyal. So for a grace period from 270 to 360 days, 284 people's deputies supported. The changes also affected the current rules of the law of November 8, 2018, which provided for a grace period of 90 days. It is worth recalling that from August 22, penalties should begin to apply for violation of import and operation. In case of violation of the term from 20 to 30 days by vehicles for personal or commercial use, the fine will be 85 thousand hryvnia.

If the period is exceeded for more than 30 days, the amount of the fine is automatically increased to 170 thousand hryvnia, or the vehicle may be confiscated by a court decision. Similar fines are provided for the loss of a car or its uncompletion. Although there are some unclear moments when the car was actually stolen, whether the owner will be held liable in this case.
