Before Lexus had time to announce the supply of new cars, an updated Lexus GS sedan with a turbocharged engine appeared in dealerships. As the representatives specified, this is a modification of the 200t.
Lexus dealerships in Ukraine have officially announced the appearance of the new GS 200t sedan. This restyled model was presented back in August last year in America at the elegant car competition. The model is based on a bold and at the same time aggressive style, and the GS 200t itself combines sporty aggression and long-distance ride comfort.
Like many new Lexus products, the GS features a spindle-shaped radiator grille, all-new front optics, LED-based rear optics and, as a result, completely redesigned bumpers. The designers of the company did not restrict the buyer with regard to interior decoration, giving a wide range of choice and arrangement of materials in addition to a modern multimedia system. The improved noise and vibration isolation of the body and hood of the new Lexus GS makes the train even more comfortable and more reliable. It is worth noting that the body of the new Lexus GS has become more rigid, thanks to an additional 188 welding points and laser welding. The steering and suspension have been optimized to improve comfort, ride precision, agility and quick steering response to the wheels.
Hidden under the hood of the Lexus GS 200t is a two-liter turbo engine with 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an automatic eight-speed transmission, instead of the previously known six-speed.
The GS 200t has a top speed of 230 km / h and accelerates to 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds. Such an indicator says that the car is more designed for comfort and convenience than for racing on the track. Fuel consumption of Lexus GS per 100 km. paths with a combined cycle of 7.9 liters.
